Jo Darke, Funding and Development Manager at Home-Start Exeter, East & Mid Devon, said “We are so pleased to have been chosen by Princesshay to be their Charity of the Year. In 2022, we were able to support 207 children in 102 families. This year, through the Princesshay partnership we hope to encourage more people to become volunteers to help us support even more families who may need our service.”
The partnership will see fundraising and awareness events happen throughout the year in Princesshay with the aim of recruiting more volunteers.
Michelle Menezes, Princesshay Centre Manager, said: “We have the privilege of being able to work with some amazing local charities through our Charity of the Year initiative and we are delighted to be supporting Home-Start this year. We look forward to partnering with their team and having the opportunity to learn about the incredible work that goes on across the region.”
