We are very happy to announce that thanks to a BBC Children in Need Grant we can continue our work providing home-visiting volunteers to support families, with young children, who are experiencing parenting challenges. These visits help to improve positive family relationships, develop children’s essential early skills and help parents and children feel less isolated.  Our volunteers help parents overcome anxiety so that their children can go to groups, parks, libraries, and take part in activities such as swimming and sports.  Children attending our own groups make new friends, learn social skills, and develop their speech and communication.
Through one-to-one home-visiting and group support, we will affect lasting change for babies and young children throughout Exeter, East and Mid Devon.
