Following the devastating floods earlier this year, we’re happy to tell you that the Beacon Community Centre in Exeter has re-opened and our groups can commence again.
Mothers in Mind – a referral only group for women in the perinatal period who are struggling with their mental health. We are a small, friendly group of women who will reassure you without judgement, only kindness. This group offers mums a place to find comfort, advice and support while experiencing anxiety, depression, low-mood, or loneliness around the time of pregnancy or after birth. The group is a place for sharing thoughts and experiences, taking part in activities or purely enjoying the company of other mums and their babies. We welcome babies up to the age of 12 months. If you would like to join the group or are a referrer wanting to make a referral just drop us a line using the Contact Us form. The group meets on Friday mornings at The Beacon centre, Pendragon House, Beacon Lane, Exeter EX4 8LZ.
Stay and Play – our weekly group for parents or carers with their babies and children 0-4 years, Tuesdays, 13.00 – 14.30 at The Beacon Centre, Beacon Lane, Exeter, EX4 8LZ. Children get the chance to play, learn, and develop, while having fun. Build stronger parent and child attachment, and chat to other parents in a supportive environment. No referral needed, just message us or drop in to register to attend.
